The Potiskum Local Government Grinding Machines Association has reaffirmed its commitment to forging a lasting partnership with Yobe Flour and Feed Mills as part of efforts to boost local manufacturing, create employment opportunities and stimulate economic growth in Yobe State.
The assurance was given by the Chairman of the Grinding Machines Association, Kasuwar NPN, Potiskum, Mohammed Ali Doctor, during a strategic meeting with the management of Yobe Flour and Feed Mills. The meeting focused on identifying areas of collaboration capable of strengthening local production and ensuring mutual business benefits.
Mohammed Ali Doctor said members of the association were prepared to work closely with the company, particularly in processing and supply operations, to enhance productivity and improve the availability of flour and animal feed products across the state.
He noted that the proposed partnership would not only strengthen the local economy but also generate more employment opportunities and encourage greater participation of indigenous businesses in the state’s industrial sector.
Responding, the General Manager of Yobe Flour and Feed Mills, Engineer Hajiya Hauwa Sule Mamudo, described collaboration with local business associations as essential for sustainable industrial development.
She welcomed the association’s willingness to partner with the company, stressing that building strong relationships with community-based organisations would expand production capacity, attract investment and support the growth of agriculture and commerce in Yobe State.
Hajiya Hauwa assured the delegation that the company would continue to work hand in hand with the Grinding Machines Association and other relevant organisations to improve the quality of its products and enhance service delivery.
Both parties agreed to sustain regular consultations and explore additional areas of cooperation aimed at increasing production, encouraging investment and promoting inclusive economic development across Yobe State.
