A young Nigerian Navy officer, Lieutenant A.M. Yarima, reportedly escaped an assassination attempt in Abuja on Sunday evening.
Lt. Yarima, who recently had a confrontation with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, was said to have been targeted by unknown assailants. Details surrounding the incident remain unclear, but sources confirmed that the officer narrowly avoided harm.
