HOUSEBOY TO HANG: Court Sentences Emmanuel Akpan for Employer’s Murder in Ondo State

Justice has been delivered in Ondo State as the High Court sentenced 21-year-old Emmanuel Akpan to death by hanging for the brutal murder of his employer, Mrs. Febisola Caroline Adedayo.

The court heard that Akpan attacked the victim with a machete, inflicting fatal cuts to her neck in a killing that shocked residents of Ondo Town.

Akpan, alongside accomplice Goodness James Akpe, was arrested on March 29, 2021, at Ifakanbale Street, Sabo, shortly after the gruesome incident.

Delivering judgment, the court held that the prosecution proved its case beyond reasonable doubt, sealing Akpan’s fate with the ultimate penalty.
