A grand reception in Daura turned into a celebration of loyalty, excellence, and rare public service recognition, as friends and well-wishers honoured Alhaji Sani Musa Daura, recently appointed Senior Special Assistant on Protocol Matters to Nyesom Wike.

The event, chaired by respected elder and Sarkin Sudan of Daura, Alhaji Nalado Yusuf, drew dignitaries who praised the celebrant’s over three decades of distinguished service in the Federal Capital Territory’s protocol unit.

In a remarkable twist, Sani Musa’s retirement was halted just days before exit, as the FCT Minister insisted on retaining his expertise, citing his professionalism, loyalty, and deep institutional knowledge.

At the colourful ceremony held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, the veteran protocol officer received four awards in recognition of his meritorious service and fresh appointment.

Speakers described him as a disciplined, law-abiding, and patriotic officer whose career stands as a model in public service, while prayers were offered for his continued success in his new role.
