Katsina State Governor and Chairman of the North-West Governors Forum, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Wednesday attended the All Progressives Congress (APC) North-West Zonal Congress hosted by Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Hall.
The high-level gathering brought together key party stakeholders from across the North-West region to deliberate on strategic party matters and strengthen internal cohesion ahead of future political engagements.
Highlights of the congress included the election of members into the APC North-West Zonal Executive Committee, as well as the swearing-in of newly elected officials, marking a significant step toward consolidating the party’s leadership structure in the region.
The event concluded with a keynote address by Governor Uba Sani, following the acceptance speech of the newly elected Zonal Chairman, alongside remarks from other party leaders.
The congress was attended by governors from Kano, Jigawa, Zamfara, Sokoto, and Kebbi States.
Also in attendance were the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Tajuddeen Abbas; Deputy Senate President, Barau I. Jibrin; Special Adviser on Political Matters to the President, Ibrahim Kabir Masari.
As well as former governors, ministers from the region, deputy governors, and members of the business community.
